Meet Allan Haynes
Owner of AL’s Junk Removal
Allan Haynes did not set out with a polished business plan or a fleet of trucks. His start in junk removal came from something much simpler: a driveway, a roofing truck, and the chance to make use of the time when that truck was not on a roofing job.
What started as a practical side job eventually became something much bigger. Today, Allan runs
AL’s Junk Removal, serving Ossining and communities throughout Westchester County, helping people clear homes, properties, and spaces that have become too difficult to tackle alone.
How Allan Got His Start
Before junk removal became his business, Allan was working with a roofing company. The owner needed somewhere to park a truck, so Allan offered space in his driveway.
That small arrangement opened the door to something new.
When Allan was not driving the truck for roofing work, he began using it to pick up junk on his own. One job led to another, and he started noticing how much demand there was for help getting unwanted items out of homes and properties in the area.
Instead of treating it like a temporary side gig, Allan kept building. He saved enough money to buy his own trailer and continued taking on more work. The business eventually grew to two trucks and one trailer.
There was no big launch moment. It was a steady progression from seeing a need, doing the work, and creating a service around something people were already asking for.
What Allan Has Learned From the Work
Junk removal rarely looks the same from one job to the next. A couch near the front door is one thing. A basement packed with unwanted items, an estate that needs to be cleared, or a property that has to be ready for its next occupant can be a very different job.
Allan’s work covers:
- Estate cleanouts
- Hoarder, eviction, and foreclosure cleanouts
- Light demolition, including shed and deck removal
That variety has given him a practical understanding of what matters before a job starts. Where the items are located, how much needs to go, and how quickly the space needs to be cleared can all change the job.
Keeping the Service Straightforward
Allan built AL’s Junk Removal around a simple idea: you should know what to expect before the work begins.
Pricing is based on volume, or how much space your items take up in the truck. We keep pricing fair and upfront so there are no surprises once the job is underway.
We handle the heavy lifting, and same-day appointments may be available when the schedule allows. We’re also fully insured, so you can feel more comfortable having us work in and around your property.
For Allan, the job is about more than taking things away. It is about helping you clear the space, finish the cleanout, keep a property moving forward, or finally get rid of something that has been sitting there for too long.
About AL’s Junk Removal
AL’s Junk Removal is based in Ossining and works with homeowners, landlords, realtors, and property managers throughout Westchester County.
A lot of the work starts with a space that needs to change hands, be cleared out, or simply become usable again. That might mean helping someone through a move, getting a property ready for its next tenant, or clearing belongings that have been sitting for years.
We keep the experience personal and straightforward. You are dealing with a local crew that understands the area, communicates clearly, and knows that sometimes the biggest value is simply getting a difficult job off your plate.
Clear the Space and Keep Moving
If junk is getting in the way of a move, cleanout, property turnover, or simply taking up space you want back, Allan and the crew can handle the lifting and hauling so you can focus on what comes next.
Tell us what needs to go, where it is located, and what kind of job you are dealing with. We’ll help you plan the next step, get the unwanted items out of the way, and make the whole job easier to manage.
